About Camille
Camille R. Popovich is a senior family law lawyer at CLP Family Law Group. She is known for her steady, knowledgeable approach and the clarity she brings to complex family law matters.
Camille grew up in central Alberta and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology through Athabasca University, completing the program through a self-directed, distance learning format in 2011 and with honors in her final year. She obtained her Juris Doctor of Law from Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia in 2015.
Camille completed her articles with the law firm Altalaw, one of Red Deer’s long-standing and respected law firms. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2016. Following her call to the Bar, Camille was offered a position at Altalaw and would go on to practice there at Altalaw for the next 10 years, receiving the benefit of significant ongoing mentorship from senior family law colleagues. In early 2026, she made the exciting change to start the CLP Family Law Group with two of her colleagues. In addition to her lengthy term practicing family law, Camille has also handled many files which involve Child and Family Services, giving her the additional understanding of how the family law system intersects with the child welfare system. Camille is also a registered Collaborative Lawyer with a lengthy history practicing Collaborative Law as well as other out-of-court processes on files.
As part of the family law team’s transition into CLP Family Law Group, Camille continues her commitment to helping individuals and families navigate change with practical solutions and a steady, supportive voice.
